Very few things would cause changes to the skull.  Really, the only thing that would cause such marked changes would be profound congentical birth defects that would likely lead to death.

Almost all forms of environmental stress or nutritional deficiency cause the long bones to bend sideways, not backwards as seen in Neanderthal man.

Neanderthal man was born with the skeletal structure we see in fossils.  The same structures are found in juvenile fossils, meaning that the changes did not occur over time, but rather, they were born with them.
We are now *not* born with them.  Thus, we cannot be the same species.

Ok mudwick I have a little researh project for you! Are you game for it? Since it is a established fact of magnetic field decay! a constant that can be anticipated and measured precisely ! I trust you agree with that staement! If you do compare the time line of magnetic field decay and evolutionay theory? what will you conclude when you find that evolutionary theory  far out paces  magnetic field decay? In other word the earth was not here when evolutionary theory began! Cold hard fact!Just sayin!

Barnes, the originator of that particular "young earth" argument used math even more flawed that the global warming alarmists use.

Just like the global warming folk, he used numbers from an extremely limited span of time, and then extrapolated them exponentially, ignoring overwhelming evidence of numerous magnetic reversals in the earth's history.  He also measured ONLY dipole magnetic field, completely ignoring nondipole magnetic fields, which evidence indicates completely neutralizes the decrease in dipole magnetism because it increased at exactly the same rate.

Barnes chose an exponential model, rather than a straight line mathmatical model because had he used the *appropriate* mathmatical model [straight line] his theory would have been disproven.

Further, he willfully refused to consider any other evidence than the 150 years worth of data from geomagnetic observatories that he used.  Significant paleomagnetic data exists disproving his theory, but he simply refused to consider it, because again, it would have disproven his young earth theory.

Much like the global warming crowd.

The black pelt of a wolf is highly considered to be the result of a dog/wolf hybrid 1000's of years ago but because the decendents of the hybrid(s) only mated with pure wolfs their decendents became 100% wolf.

Genetics is way beyond my knowledge but if that theory is correct. If a GSD was crossed with a poodle but only those crosses were bred with GSD's and their decendents were only bred with GSD's at some point they will truely be considered pure gsd's.
