        mobjack..LOL..yes, I know...

Sam....I hear you...I think I am going back to the AKC trainer that I have been with since Prince was a young puppy. I really wanted to get involved with a Schutzhund group, but I think I will wait on that until I get more knowledgeable. Schutzhund people can be very serious, and I think I would fair better having a little more under my belt before getting involved in a club..This AKC trainer is very successful in AKC obedience ...I am comfortable with them, I have learned a lot and it is a nice way to keep up, on Prince's socialization and obedience. However, I am going to work on the Schutzhund stuff with books, videos, attending events, and the help and advice from the board.....That is my plan anyway...

Yes, I think it is a great idea, I would love to see someone post video's of them working thier dog.  Just be ready for the mean people to comment. I posted a video of my 9 mo. old tracking a couple weeks back, I just wanted to share the video, but that is not how it turns out on this forum.

Good luck, I would love to see you and your dog!!

gsdshow, I think I remember the video...It was a good one. I figure, even a nasty critique has some benefit...My video will be entertaining at the very least lol..lol.., at best I hope to get some honest opinions about my technique.  I will let you know about the thickness of my skin AFTER the posting..LOL...

Hello Ruger, Does the Obedience Trainer you are with have a Web Site?  That would be helpful to view too.

Vixen

Ruger1,
I know you can take it, It is hard to listen to people when you are excited about something your dog is doing.  We all learn from everything someone says, be it good or bad.

Looking forward to your video
Kathy

Vixen, ....Nice to hear from you again, you were one of the first posters to respond with help and advice when I became a member......I will be seeing these trainers in early September for the next scheduled class, I will ask them if they have a problem with me posting their names or websites. I do not think they would mind, they have a lot to be proud of, with regard to their training accomplishments. I have had a bad experience with a situation in the past, and do not want to jeopardize any relationships.....Hope you understand......

No problem at all Ruger.  (Glad I had a good positive effect on your arrival)    :)

Sorry to hear that you had a "bad experience".  But at least you have obviously put it behind you and are moving on......

All good wishes,
Regards
Vixen
