Repetition. Do one-steps, three steps. As you stop guide your dog to the correct position. Every now and then, do it with less guidance to check their progress - if it isn't i the correct position, then give a little correct and put in the correct spot.
Also, you can give their behinds a little downward pop with your hand when you stop.
