Lindesfarne is a family business founded by Mark and Michele Scarberry in Seville, Ohio.  They have been breeding, training and competing in the sport of Schutzhund for thirty years. Their son Dominic completes the Family Team. 

Mark has been involved with Schutzhund since 1979.He was a founding member of OG Buckeye Schutzhund Club, where his education in dog training and helper work began. While visiting numerous clubs in the United States and Germany, he acquired knowledge from German Teaching Judges and Helpers. 

Michele has achieved the USCA Master Gold Sport Medal and the SV master Gold Sport Medal with Diamonds. She has trained and titled 11 dogs to SchH3, 5 dogs to SchH2, 4 dogs to SchH1 and 1 dog to FH, plus numerous breeds to CD and CDX.

Michele is also a very successful obedience instructor and retrieving trainer, who specializes in all breed training and handling. She also manages Lindesfarne boarding. She is an advocate that working dog titles are essential in proving a dog’s breed worthiness.
