We are breeders of  Working German Shepherds in India. Our kennel focuses on breeding the traditional German Shepherd as envisaged by Max Von Stephanitz, the founder of our beloved German Shepherd breed.  

Our work is an on-going tribute to his efforts and vision for the German Shepherd. 

We focus our efforts on breeding pups that can be utilised for a wide range of uses; Personal/Family/Property protection, Law Enforcement, Explosives/Narcotics Detection, Search & Rescue, Guide for the specially enabled and Canine Sport. 

To accomplish our goal we have developed a breeding program in collaboration with world renowned kennels for Working Line German Shepherds, Jinopo Cz ™ in the Czech Republic and Alpine K9 ™ in the USA.We have in our program studs and dams from blood lines of world famous working dogs of the Czech z Pohranicni Straze (z PS), Slovak and East German DDR kennels.

 For our breeding program we select the best Studs and Dams with the required features and traits such as Strong Bones, Steady Nerves, Dark Pigmentation, Strong Hunt, Prey and Defense drives.

Tava Mitram™ gives you the possibility to acquire pups, young adults and adult dogs with working abilities in various stages of training. 

Pups/Dogs are assessed by our experts from Jinopo Cz ™ and Alpine K9™ who have over three decades of experience with the breed. The assessment will contain a description of the pup’s traits, a measure of its Prey:Defense drive, and it’s suitability for the different type of work.
