Shephaven Kennels is a small kennel  located at Whakatane in the sunny Bay of Plenty New Zealand concentrating on temperament, health, trainability, and beauty with working ability. 
I am a family oriented kennel, committed to enhancing the breed through my limited, planned breedings.

My German Shepherds are raised as our pets, around children and cats, happy, healthy and show wonderful social skills. 
My breeding dogs go thru Vet Checks including hip and elbow x rays which are read and scored by the German Shepherd Dog Council of Australia Hip Dysplasia (HD) and Elbow Dysplasia (ED) Control Schemes.

All pups are registered to their new owners, immunized and vet checked, microchipped & come with a comprehensive guide to raising and care, full pictorial pedigree history and a lifetime of breeder support.
