Janette--Three dogs and they were all dissappointing. In what way? You can email me if you don't want to post it publicly. I also noticed that they sell their breeding dogs. Even the ones you would think they would keep. I have driven up there to meet their dogs and I really liked them. I was expecting to see a whole bunch of dogs barking and acting aggressive. Only one dog barked, and that was after we walked away from her and she wanted us to come back. Most of them were very friendly (one was a little hesitant to let a stranger pet her) and VERY pretty. Amie even brought me a toy in her mouth when we came in to see her pups. The dogs were smaller than I had expected but they have sturdy frames and huge heads. I don't think that makes them worth that price though. The stud dogs I met (Ursus and Kaiko) were very friendly and waggy, you would never guess it's the same dog doing protection in the video. Kaiko had a crater in his pen (his favorite pastime is digging, I guess) maybe that's why they sold him.
DoubleX -- which one is your dog? I would like to see a pic if you have one.
I have decided that I'm waiting to get a pup for at least another 6 months. I want to make sure I have the money and time to spend on a puppy. I also want to do more obedience with the two dogs I currently live with to make sure they don't teach my pup how to fence fight and threaten visitors (the first dog wouldn't do it by herself, but the two of them is a different story. The last thing I want is three dogs fence fighting) I still think Kraftwerk has some really nice dogs, but since finding this site I've found many other breeders with nice dogs for a lot less money. However, now I need to meet a whole new set of dogs! I don't think I could buy a puppy without first seeing the parents and the place they will be raised for the first couple months.

And I am no amateur either......Im just not a trainer nor a helper,,,I was the handler until the SOB at pct 4, Harris Co Sheriff stole mine and sold him right under a whole depts nose, and I put his ass in the 2 x 4 with three felonies.......Larry Filo doesnt breed junkdogs, and he and RicK Ford, from Steinig Tal, sent me one of the greatest in this country, not grown , but a pup......and then I purchased a male from a Steinig tal, union , out of a Fluss Tal line.....powerful pair.
Crimson...Larry is still in business,,,,saw his ad today in USA DOGS Now you can trust him.....but he has the ultimate of working ........give him a call.....I think it is Campbellsport, WIS< After Konig was stolen, I drove all the way to Campbellsport and they had nothing at that time ...had an accross country tour on the way back.....and ended up with the Enclavehof boy.......on the way back home................

Well, I take back that, all us on the other end of a leash on the field are trainers, but my roll is not what your roll is You obviously are the professional here, and the one with the years of professionalism with the dog training you do..............do you have any videos to share with us of you working one of your dogs or a dog in ring or wherever....you do your main training sessions......when Konige drug me accross the field three times when he saw the man in the blind move,,,,and we were only in the first phase of the work, and his obedience was very sure, but a challenge was on the forefront and he knew right where it was and knew what was intending on happening....I knew that night that I had to give him over to someone else stronger than I, and I did....only to regret it.......the years of those of you that work these dogs and teach us what you haave learned is to be highly appreciated..... show us some videos of your work........

I just thought i'd give my 2 cents. I purchased a puppy from Kraftwerk k9 over 2 years ago, a solid black pup, from Kaiko Vom Saltzablick and Bapsy Del Cerbero (P litter). After going through what seemed to be a neverending homewrecking phase, she is now a wonderful dog. No health problems at all since I have had her. And she is very intellgient and lovable. She outsmarts our other German Shepherd all the time and has a very funny, playful personality.
At the same time, I realize not every dog is going to turn out this way. I just wanted to say that my dog was worth the $2500.

The true sign of a person's character and good business ethics comes from how he responds and handles his problems. It is easy to be the good guy when everyone is happy but if a customer is not satisfied it's different story.
On the reverse side some customers have excessive demands and even cause the pup to have problems and expect the breeder to be like wal-mart and have a un-questioned return policy.

Nikkilou - Ditto me.... I have a Kaiko & Fresche son 22 months old & perfect in every way, handsome to boot! Also got an Ursus & Pia female one month later. Stable, solid nerves, high play drive, great ob and all KKL1 parents, Hips in physical exams are good and will OFA in 2 months with promising results due to strong a1's in lineage and vet opinion.
In general, life is a crap shoot. Dogs are living entities. I sold landscapes for 20 years and would never give a guarantee on a plant that I wasn't paid to take care of (do the maintenance on for the period of warranty). It was once said of landscapes (plants) and the same could be said of dogs or people, etc. : (and just a note that people down here pay frequently $5,000 - $15,000 for certain palms by the dozens - many with known failure rates of 50% typically - due to a latent fungal organism that stays latent until it is shipped from it's natural arid environment into humid tropical South Florida)
"Dealing with landscapes (dogs, life) is like playing chess with mother nature because
the variables are so many."
All I'm saying is that many have had good experiences with Wayne Curry and some have not. It's all in the odds and every game has them. Things just get more expensive for everyone when people don't know the risks of buying live assets when they sign on the dotted line. You have to be willing to go either way- either you should have sent the dog back or be resigned to take care of it to the best of your ability for life (and that doesn't always mean a second mortgage).
I wish you the best of luck with your dog and with a hopeful eventual resolution between you and Curry and I also highly recommend that you put a post out to Louise M. Penery and beg her advice on how to truly minimize the agitation your dogs has from it's symtoms.
I myself would not buy an adult dog from anyone, but I would buy another puppy from him.
