Yep, been around long enough that I listen to just about nothing. My eyes are much better B.S. detectors, so if I want the real opinion for whatever reason I go see for myself. Less talk and more walk but it is the only way to do it. A bonus is that these dogs you may want to see are usually in clubs that you can borrow some pretty good training ideas from. Funny how these two things go together. Soft helper thread had a take on this.

From BK- "I know that some dogs take things so real and a "Sunday Helper" without proper preparation can make a mistake or have a mistake happen that the memories will last a lifetime". This is such a true statement! If you have a real dog, use a real helper. It takes experience and knowledge to work such a dog. A good helper can make up for many handler errors- but a handler with a good dog can't help a helper with a bad timed error. JoAnn
