Sue I will disagree... First and foremost all dogs should be in loving caring forever homes. With Health in mind ! I will never sell any pup if I have any hint that the dog would NOT be loved and cared for, Training out the wazoo aside, if they don't love and care for the dog I could care less if they put SchH3 on the dog 100x's if they kennell the dog only spending time to train or work, In other words if this dog is NOT also part of they're family, they will not be keeping the dog very long. Contracts...Protect your buyer, Protect your puppy !! That's my feeling on it most will probably disagree they are free to do so, However it will not change that "I WANT MY DOGS TO BE LOVED AND CARED FOR !!"

I didn't say they shouldn't be cared for, I said love wasn't enough. It is not enough to come home from work & pet your dog while you watch tv. It is not enough to have a big back yard but have it used for no more than a toilet. For other breeds this is fine, not the GSD & it shouldn't ever be. These dogs were never meant to be lawn ornaments & it really makes me crazy that some people are happy to cater to those who want a poodle in a GSD suit by breeding the work out of the dog. When did it become acceptable to breed a dog for everyone? There are many happy WORKING bred GSD's in pet homes, but they are ACTIVE pet homes.
