Don,
jackals.com
they make greta family pets. They don't house train and they bite in the face.

I just figured, the kids would have something to play with and I wouldn't have to take time off of work to go hunting. The new Jackals could bring home the meat.

forget the wolf, forget the cross let's just go for the wild. LOL.

That's how they go gagster in Africa! That is flat out scary.
On a lighter note, it just might be showlines painted with spots.

Here is something for everyone to ponder this is a link to our male Indy http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/473842.html here is a link to a male in his pedigree that was used in the origination of the Czech wolfdog (note read the comment on the dog) http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/pedigree/25729.html
Also on a side note our male is linebred on a son of that dog Klara P.S.
For those of you that may own czech dogs you may have the same dog in you pedigree as well.
Carrie and Nathan

runfast, if you are hinting that Klara and Kazan were litter mates, you are dead wrong on that. Kazan sire was Bojar but his dam was Lejdy (vléice ze ZOO Hluboká n/Vlt.) and Klara's dam was Bessy Ku-Jan. If I didn't understand you correctly, then I apolize.

I have been told that DDR GSD's were crossed with wolves in the development of that type. I have no facts to substantiate this assertion.
Can anyone shed some light on this matter?
