Are you kidding me clearwater2 - he may have had a bad day - you would not give him a second chance - that is like you having a bad interview - that does not mean you can't do the job and do it well - you may have had a bad day.........right.........he is a fine male and I am going off of the information given to me by individuals that have puppies out of him and by a breeder who used him a while back.........gorgeous puppies - solid as a rock etc.....also my friend is not looking to do Sch. - he is doing obed....wants a family dog - not that is matters - but I think he is a Fab DOG - my opinion.

He is a fine dog no doubt , but you have to considder the mother dog, she should be a secure dog, he braught many beautifull puppies , but nice puppies are not nice dogs... but why did you mentioned it here ? its your choice if you like him ... so what??

Your statement is correct. I do not mean to be disrespectful - but you seem a bit raw - as posted I was looking for someone on this board that would perhaps know where he was at - or could help me find a puppy out of him for my friend - we have very knowlegable individuals on this site - that have connections - that know all dogs and study breeding - and I just needed some help and I alway get good information from this board. I take it you do not like him - thats your opinion. No problem.

Karats Yoker is in China. I live in China and saw him twice during the show. He failed to engage during the bite test in the annual 2006 China SV Show in Beijing in October last year where Heinz Scheerer was the judge. I know he failed to engage in at least another show but could not remember which one. I am not knowledgeable enough to know if there were his or his handlers' faults. He came in first in the following China regional show in Nanjing in November last year, but there wasn't any bite test in the regional show. Just reporting the facts.

Thank you Laris for the information- the facts are always good. What do you think happened?

During the Beijing show, he simply wasn't interested, he wasn't afraid of the helper either. I don't think it is the fault of the handler, as I believed his is a professional flown (probably a German) into China just to handle the dog during the show.

I did not know about his failure in China but I did see him fail at the 2006 Sieger Show in Germany. I have heard that he also failed his first korung for the same reason. I'm sure strong character should be given consideration when looking for a puppy from him. Pay close attention to the character of the female he is bred to. He is a beautiful male in anatomy and movement and has some very nice progeny. Best of luck to you on your search.
