I know this is a touchy subject and I totally agree its bizzare what some people do for money. But do you know the mule and how useful it has been over the ages. just a thought for comparison sake.

I don't get it.
I hear all the time I just want to breed her once so she will calm down, She needs to be a mother just once before I spay her, It is even worse on the male dogs, the best one is God gave them to him and he will die with them.
I even told one guy who bought a male corgi from a pet store and was going to breed it when it got older and come to find out it only had 1 testicle and he was upset about it but is still plaing on breeding it even after we told him he shouldn't, I told him that he bought a dog from a PET store it is a pet If he wanted to breed a dog that he needed to talk to a breeder and buy from a breeder.
I think that all dogs bought from a PET store need to be fixed before they are sold, People will pay $1500.00 for a dog from a pet store and never do any research on the breed,it is a very expensive impulse buy and turn around and breed it. I don't get it.

Yeah but the mule is a hybrid between two different species which gives it true hybrid vigor

Luckily we only have a few who take it upon themselves to breed. But, if the "real breeders" frustrate me.
For some, I so think that it's about the fact that his penis worked!
Sorry guys!

I think that most are amazed that people are paying $1000 for something they can get at a pound for free.
There have been mutts around for ever and always will be....just suprised that people will buy them now.

$1000 or more. Some of these Goldendoodles and Labradoodles are going for $1500 or more!
I'm always amazed too at how much people will spend on those impulse buys at the pet store. Only to give it up a couple of days later.

Thank god, my hubby doesn't have those issues. He made me laugh the last time my bitch was in season and my male was going crazy and I was complaining. Told me, "well, you were the one that didn't want to have him neutered"
