Everyone, please excuse me as I am in a very "German" frame of mind this evening-new photos of old friends in Germany as well as some letters were waiting for me when I returned home.

That is basically what I said-this has to be a joke designed to pull our legs. Al least I hope it is!

I agree Bob, and I'm pretty sure we all know which troll this is, so.........let's all stop feeding it and let it die.

No what i meant was he has a sloped back

and the studs father was a short coat

Breeding a long coat to a long coat will produce all long coated puppies - if you breed her to a short coat you may have a litter of all short coats or some short coats and some long coats.

As far as the back - I would suggest you just not breed to a male with that kind of back and look elsewhere.  Chances are some pups will inherit and some will not - but the cause of that is probably controlled by so many genes it is impossible to tell.

Sorry - thought I would mention one other thing - did it ever occur to anyone that if you just answer their questions without the discussions, the pictures, the disbelief and the stupid little troll things that the threads that are 'clearly trolls' would disappear alot faster?  You might garner a few more questions - but, if someone really is a troll that isnt the kind of attention they are looking for, and with them you can kill with kindness alot faster typically.

Thanks for the reply you seem to be the only one who isn't calling me a troll at the moment so i would like to say thankyou for acctually trusting a new comer some seem to keep with their friends and try to scare off new members thanks
