Hello!
My name is Aira Vitolska.
I own the wonderful rough collie GODLIKE DOLPHIN kennel. We live near the Baltic sea in Latvia, Ventspils.
In 1986 I got my first collie BIS BELINDA SILVER ALLRIGHT (Linda) thats when I started to breed collies. She was the descendant of first imported dogs. Collies were very popular those days. At shows participated 50 up to 70 dogs. That was magnificent. My Linda had a very successful dog show career and she was a great mumm. She participated in her last dog show when she was 13 years old and got BOB in 1999 in Ventspils.
I also have to mention my second lovely girl Reval Longcoat Golden Anemone (Anne) who was born in 1987 - my ginger miracle. Their puppies already carried the Godlike Dolphin name.
I consider collie as perfect dog - for home and family. During the walks collie wont attack, wont run in woods after rabbit or roe. In winter wont freeze, if stays outside for a bit longer while. In summer can spend all day with you at the beach.
When you come back home from work - your awaited by smiling, happy company - then all exaustion (maybe unlucky day bitterness) vanish. I cant imagine my life without collies. My dogs are happy with me and I feel very good around them.
So with years passing by I have understood, that theres no better dog then collie. It's intelligent, elegant, smart and most of all very very dear.
The Godlike Dolphin kennel was registered in 2003.09.09.(Nr.136 FCI 10/03)
