Haus Burlin

Having owned and worked German Shepherds without showing or entering working trials for many years, I decided to enter the show and working world of the SV in 2009, December.  I chose a correct size, correct pigmented female and have shown and worked ever since.  In February of 2011,  a small kennel, (Haus Burlin), was born in South Africa.  To date, there has been no litters.

In early 2010, I went in search of a good male puupy, one that could be shown proudly and worked with equal enthusiasm.  This was no easy task as I soon learned of the huge divide between the show and working worlds.  I purchased a mle from Germany whose mother is a sheep herding bitch and father, a VA stud dog in Germany.  Thus far, th elittle boy has shown both promise in the show ring and an amazing drive and ability towards working.  

The primary aim of Haus Burlin is to breed dogs that look good, are strong and, can work.  No compromises will be made that could affect the working ability of the breed or, a fault that represents a major deviation from the breed standard.

Haus Burlin proposes to provide puppies that will do well in both the show ring, and the working arena.
