Sunny,Who is Bo?

by sunshine on 27 November 2004 - 08:11

Bo is a dog I met. And believe me it is worth the outcry. She belonged to kennel von Ajay and threw huge litters. Has since been sold. Always bred back-on-back. For those big boned pet quality litters. Bo is a simple dog that finally needs a home. And if the owner lets himself open, I want to buy her free.

Lady Sunshine, Obviously this Melissa is the original flim-flam man! How can you take anything she said to gsdwins seriously? And with her versatile locations, how are you going to pin her down, or find Bo, for as long as she plays possum? I think even AKC would have hard time obtaining satisfaction!

Hello Sunny How do I contact you..I would like to talk with you... As far the breeding...my friend bought a yasko pup from her...I was referred by this friend...and when Melissa was selling me this pup ...Melissa emphasized that if I ever bred my pup to my friend's yasko pup...she'd want a pup... Yada Yada Yada...... the breeding would take much more forethought...My first concern with my pup was to be show/schutzhund...etc....Melissa assured me this dog would be excellent for schutzhund....along the way, I asked her about temperament tests, etc...she said she didn't use them...she knew how to pick pup because of her experience, etc, etc... Bo represented 50 years of quality genetics and this was the last litter for Bo...and for these genetics to be passed on witht he Yasko pup...eetc How do you know Bo is sold? She said its her personal dog and she did mention how gentle Bo was with her dachshund...I had questions because I have a Welsh Terrier...who thinks she's a GSD.. There was mention of some of the pups died...I hope Bo was not a victim of this plight. She did mention she put the pups on solid food @ 3 weeks. Is this normal? I do not have Bo's registration #, but the AKC did acknowledge that Bo and Tasso were registered ...but the litter in question was not. the litter was born 11 August. Now , its been about a week to 10 days since I've checked on litter registration.

Poor Bo , other dogs too .. .. woooow the dogs put their trust into us .. these /those dogs just don't deserve that .. sooo we can see a lot has been done since all the other quagmires .. huh ?? - oh sunny .. what can be done.. -- i liked better when we could talk about how the dogs add to our lives rather than see how hwe as humans can let them down .. wish i can help -- let me know-- til later sunshine

If the dogs correct name is 'Bo vom Theresienhof', then her AKC number is DL87144301. Tasso vom Winnloh is DN07879501. Maybe that will help with something.

Hey, I can't believe this thread..Sounds like some people have forgotten about the dogs and are out for profit only...I feel so sorry for poor Bo, Sunny I hope you can buy her...Do we all need to have our dogs DNA tested? Breeders should have more ethics than this...And I think most probably do that truly love the breed.I think the dog's trust has been misplaced.I hope this thing gets resolved....because we're all on different planes....

Amaras -- do believe -- by all means do believe !! -- in general .. there are a number of breeders that are not right with their buyers .. that being the case as we have heard within this forum quite frequently -- imagine what is happening to some of these GSD's that can't post on this forum !!..

by Amaras on 27 November 2004 - 22:11

Alphapup, I am starting to believe !!!And I feel so sorry for all the poor GSD'S out there. Not everyone thinks of their dogs as family like alot of us...A dog that's been bred back to back over and over! It's awful and should be considered abuse to the animal. This makes me want to puke...but I'm sure it goes on more than any of us think.......I can only imagine what the poor dogs think of us?

Cheers Liebe Sunshine, I remain surprised at ongoing surprise expressed in so many posts. That is, despite endless Breeder websites evincing overweening love and concern for 'our friends for life' as their sole motivation; there is a sizeable group who see the animal as merely secondary to their real ends: make a quick buck! This is the real world, as distinct from the romantic, idealistic anticipations conveyed by numerous posts. The trouble is that despite pretty good control over their breeding activities, there's really very little regulation over their commercial conduct. And, to obtain some sort of legal satisfaction over commercial misbehaviour is time-consuming, very difficult to prove and costly. The more questionable Breeder is very well aware of this - in fact, quite a few thrive on it! Nobody ever said the world is 'fair', dear lady.
