Calvin, Coccidia tends to be a malady that affects baby puppies who have just been weaned as they do not have a strong immune system. Not saying that this is impossible, just improbable. However, Giardia is very much a possibility, but you say his stools are normal. Both diseases cause severe diarrhoea. I tend to agree that x-rays may be in order to see what is happening inside. Sorry to hear about this. Bob-O

What are you feeding him normally?

Last year both my cats and my dog were dx with coccidiosis AND giardia, AND NONE OF THEM WERE SHOWING ANY SYMPTOMS!! So, no, these parasites do not always cause diarrhea.

Calvin, Bloodwork can be perfectly normal and the dog can have a giant tumor in the abdomen, I would definatly have an ultrasound or xrays done, best of luck!
