Well you guys can't complain until it gets this cold  -41  Thats the same in F and Cel.  Yeah, you don't want to live in Alberta, Canada this time of year!

We have -42 right now and  have been this cold for a week now.  Last winter we had -74F/-58C?  for our coldest day.  I think officially it was only -72F last year.  Hard to feel the global warming right now.  Lots of ice fog lately.

Well here on New Years Day it was a cool +35 degrees C.

Today unfortunately we are down to a miserable +25 degrees C.  (No beach today.)

My daughter is threatening to put a jumper on.

Minus 41!!!!!!!!!!!  Maybe it looks good in pictures, can you ski at this temperature, no other reason for being that cold is there?

A week ago it was hovering around -28/-30 C....add the crazy winds we were getting it was more like -40! Warmed up a bit, averaged around -7 to -15. Last couple days its been around -24 C in the am and evening, "warming" to around -17 during the day. It is supposed to only be -2 on Sun, so I'm excited about that, as it's club training day!!

Needless to say, each winter I keep telling my DH we have to move back down south (Vancouver area). This cold weather coupled with all the snow we always have really sucks for dog training....geesh! But then I remember once summer rolls around that life up here on the lake is worth it afterall.
