Taigakoira Kennels

Taigakoira Kennels is a small kennel  in Melbourne, Vic (Australia) dedicated to our wonderful and gregarious Finnish Lapphund (Lappies).  While we actively show, and do dog sports with our Lappies, they are first and formost important members of our family.  As we are a small kennel we do not breed very often, but occassionally do have litters and welcome puppy inquiries. All our pups are raised in a family environment and are vet checked and microchipped before leaving for their new families. All our dogs are PRA (clear) by parentage and are hip scored and fully health tested prior to any breeding program.

As registered breeders with Dogs Victoria and the Finnish Lapphund Club of Victoria we are dedicated to promoting responsible pet ownership. We love hearing from other 'lappie people' and are happy to discuss this affectionate and friendly breed with anyone who may be interested or want to know if this is the right breed for them.
