Baerenfangs Erbe

Personally, there are many many good breeders out there that I personally know and not just Stateside.

I guess this was somewhat tongue in cheek but I am nowhere near saying that the Shepherd is ruined.

Well, when you look at them as a whole, they are ruined. Can you say that over 50% of the GSD in the world fit the standard and could work? Sure, I can find a great shepherd any day of the week. I know where to go to find a great puppy, but that doesn't mean a thing. Majority of that being produced is less than desirable.
I have to be honest. Your dogs are not what I would own. I'm not saying they're bad, inferior, not to the standard, or can't work. Just not my cup of tea. And I'm sure you'd say the same of mine, but that is what has us talking. Everyone has an opinion and everyone thinks their dogs are breedworthy.

Some of us look at the breed as a whole and some of us look at it from their venue, and some of us look at it from a couple of individual ones they've owned.

I am not counting showlines or pet lines. I'm only looking at Working Lines.

I think BE perhaps you should make that point in ALL posts - as should other posters, about their own perspectives - otherwise messages tend to get mixed.
