Double X
I meant to say I have a Ursus grandson with IBD, my Ursus son had a very severe form of EPI.
Sorry for the error,
Birdy...

DoubleX, if your dog is taking Tylan, you have my sympathy LOL. Reading that you are filling gel caps brought back memories of my first GSD. He developed a chronic bacterial sinusitis and the soft tissue vet prescribe Tylan mixed in his food. He was a good eater, but I don't think any dog would eat that stuff unless it was almost comatose from hunger. So, I packed gel capsules too while wearing a dust mask to keep it out of my nose and mouth. Nasty, nasty stuff!!

Blitzen.
You nailed it. Tylan it is. I need to make some capsules tomorrow and don't look forward to it. Haven't tried a mask yet, but it sounds like a good idea. Didn't even try putting it in his food, since I'd heard it was very bitter and he'd likely refuse it. So, he gets 6 gel caps a day in fat free cream cheese. The things we do for love...

Ugh, I bought the biggest gel caps I could find, wore the dust mask and tried to not put my fingers in my mouth for at least 2 days after filling day LOL. Yes, we do what we have to do, don't we?
