Valk it’s in the breed standard. I love a dark eye its my preference. Yes, health endurance and working ability is important well. He is the most athletic GSD I’ve ever had. Excellent shape and lives to work in any venue. Best GSD I’ve ever had. Very possessive which makes protection a challenge (not a sport dog) but we are going in the right direction.

He looks very robust and strong, as others have said he has a nice strong head as well. Are you doing sport with him?

You said he's possessive - does this mean of the sleeve in bitework?

I have to say yes and no when he got the sleeve I would have pry his paws off of it but will heel away no problem. it’s the fight he loves with helper so doesn’t like to out (give in) He is learning now it’s a game, takes it too seriously so ball is his reward for outing not the sleeve.
The Ball he can get possessive hates to give in so 2 balls needed at times.

Just as you use 2 balls for the possessiveness, you can also have the helper use 2 sleeves. I have done this when the dog wants to keep the sleeve - it provides 'incentive' to release the first sleeve. Just in case you hadn't tried that before ;)

@nana thank you I now feed Inukshuk best food ever. He’s been on it for 2 months now and what a difference in over all health coat eyes etc.

Good to know Jetta but so far have not found anything but chicken in formulas. Can't use chicken, wished I could but doesn't work for my guy. Thanks for sharing though formulas look good otherwise.
