spectator makes the most valid point regarding the database. The database is the best part of this site. It will still need to be controlled to stop silly things being chanded by the morons, and we can really do without the comments section, which is routinely abused or used for abuse. Everything else, messageboard, free adverts, aticles and gallery are of little value and if anyone needs information about any aspect of GSD breeding, health or anything else they can SEARCH the internet. Let us have the BEST breed database running PERFECTLY with ACCURACY as its target and lets DITCH everything else. This site would then be a dream site for our breed.

Spectator: I made these postings because I was asked why I stopped posting. I never suggested that each poster be publicly identified to other posters, but only it would be nice if Oli or his agents "policed" the site by validated registration and barred all annoyers and harassers from using this site forever. Yes, anyone that doesn't like the site can "take a hike". And that is what I and many did, we stopped posting and many stayed away due to the long periods when which the site was vandalized and knocked out. The sad part is that one individual using numerous morphed identities repeatedly used these multiple, anonymous covers to institute patterned "anoyances" and "harassments" of good and valuable posters of this web site, and even began making veiled threats of personal harm. It is sad to see a site ruined and sabotaged by one individual and a few of his degenerate, sub-human subcultural hangerons. And yes, sabotage is a good term, since many photos have been switched, with profane photos posted in place and pedigrees trashed. Oli should value his baby more than that. He can easily put protections in place that still don't reveal actual identities to anyone else but him. And he can set up procedures to bar abusers, annoyers, insulters, harassers, and vandals from trashing this site. That is, if Oli still owns this site after his trip to the USA. Installing and selling cookie id's is pretty much accepted practice and almost everyone knows this is done and expects it. And spectator if you don't like what I am saying and want to talk personally, e-mail me and we can talk on the phone. I don't think you get it. Why don't you make some meraningful suggestions on how to stop this site from being vandalized, trashed and used a means to periodically and habitually annoy, harass and threaten other posters.

Spectator, you took a low shot at me with your snipe at me "Why doesn't Oli do this, why doesn't Oli do that, why if you don't like the setup here don't YOU go somewhere like GSD world where everyone is identifiable?" Then I respond to your snipe and you say "Enough already !!!!." You should refrain from attacking someone personally. You talk big but list no valid e-mail. If you want to take low shots at folks you should expect a reply and be man enough to quit hiding behind your "nam de plume". My own view is that everyone should be personally accountable for what they say, and expect such, or refrain from saying it. You have a history on this site of attacking others maliciously at times. Why do you have a need to do this? It's folks like you who have harmed this site in my opinion.

Spectator, yes, that would explain your reluctance to use this site without insulting others and rediculing their GSDs. I just thought you wanted to harm this site but I'll take your word for it. Please e-mail me and let's talk this out on the phone.
