You may want to try taking her temperature again but don't stick the thermometer so far in maybe, only 1/4 inch. I'm sure she'll allow that.

Thank you to all for your help. We did go to the vet and she has at least 6 pups and could go into labor anytime-so far no problems. 6 pups are better than 2 enormous ones. I'm very excited!!!:) Her brother was the 2005 Bundesseiger winner and I'm proud to be carrying on her lines. Shes a super dog. Also, my vet said he didn't rely on temps. Contractions were a true indicator on full on labor. Keep you all posted!!!!

Doesn't rely on temps? I always do, my females always go below 98. I have one that will go 97.1. I also have found that if they go over their due date (which I know by doing progesterone testing) and the temp goes back up over 100 time to go to the vet. Had one female do that and had to do a csection. Puppy feet in the canal and no contractions. Saved the 4 pups and mom. Temp is a very good indicator if everything is going well or if something is wrong.

thank you so much for your comment. I would think also that temp is a very important indicator. It's astonishing the differences and variances that I'm finding. I was also told that she may go 2 more weeks which seems crazy. She is on her 59th day. Anyway, close by her side so that I can help in any way i can Hundguy, where are you when i need you

Did you run progesterone to see when she ovulated or just go by breeding dates?

By breeding dates, why?

Do I understand correctly that this a sister, or half sister to VA1 Larus Von Batu?
