For me I would never have family, (those are pack members) or close friends, there's only a handful, (secondary pack members) be put in that position.
The irony, is my male, Reiker, will be 9 in March. Reiker has known the decoy, my friend, fellow LEO K9, since he was 5 mos. When were on the field or the sleeve or suit is on it's all business. But outside of that there are a couple of friends that Reiker is like overly excited to see or be around. The decoy is one of them.
Maybe the trainer/experienced one can cut you a reduced fee since there are three dogs? He/she would still be making more than if it was just one dog. And they should be looking at the big picture, you, your dogs, not just the money factor?
