I would think that ALL dog food companies will now be paying a lot more attention to their quality control programs.

One would think, but obviously not. It is cheaper and the profit is higher, it is sad but most companies are concerned with thier bottom line, not the welfare of our animals. The whole food journal is an excellent source of info. and they are NOT selling anything or getting anything from the companies as to not be biased, and the other web-site I listed isn't eithier. Just very informative, and enlightening.

I was thinking that the fear of lawsuits might cause all the major maunfacturers to take another look at their QC policies. I would expect this mistake will cost Diamond plenty.

Brandoggy, Do you know where Eagle is sold generally? Is there a website off hand that you know of? I feed Royal Canin,...BUT I have 2 dogs that will not keep weight up.

by Brandoggy on 30 December 2005 - 06:12

let me check into it..I had to find it at a feed store..the big places like petco and petsmart don't carry it...it too tried RC and my boy could not keep weight on and in a couple of weeks with Eagle pack, he put the weight on and looks so much better..are you on the east coast?
