after some watching my fellow club members and their dogs practice flawlessly for months, and then at the trials , it all seemed to fall apart. maybe the hardest thing to teach is the owner. owners wanted to do so well, and were so worried that the dogs just didn't perform, or the stress that they would make a mistake, or being in front of so many people. so maybe the hardest thing to train may be to relax and believe in yourself and your dog. my turn is comming i'm sure i'll be just as uptight.

For me the hardest of the three phases to get right is the OB and the retrieves,

Plus on a trial you have seen Dogs in training clear the 39'' hurdle perfectly only to touch it on the way over or back and lose points by doing so

It is all down to how the Dog is feeling is on the day

and the handler of course
