Reliya, I became a "hilly billy" by choice...my dogs loved it...

At least the dog when given the chance to live "in the woods", no strangers around, hopefully treated and trained well, won´t be the victim of society any longer.

I was recently spoke to Ma Ming of Haus Ming . He said that he used to breed dogs like this ( his Collin ). He doesn't anymore because people don't want these types of dogs. He reminded me that he does have frozen semen on Collin Haus Ming.

Susie, no problem. I don't mind helping out if you don't understand.

I was just giving Mith a hard time with the hill billy thing. Nobody here cares about being called "hillbilly, redneck, hick," et cetera. Some actually use it to identify themselves, like a badge of honor.

The dog has a form of PTSD.  The humans in this dog's life have failed him. He has no trust or respect for humans .... he treats them as they have treated him ... something to use to get what you want. I have seen one like him ... talented but unpredictable and dangerous to handle. I wonder how this dog relates to other dog?? If the dog has the ability to get along with other dogs then there may be hope to build a trusting and respectful relationship through interacting with other dogs and through them their humans. Dogs need a family group whether a human and a dog, several dogs and a human, or several humans and a dog, etc.. Dogs are not solitary creatures but when forced to live in fear or suspicion of everyone and everything it will suck their soul right out of them.  Many dogs such as this dog have their spirit broken but are labeled as weak nerves while this dog which is a psychopathic nervous mess is not so labeled??  So if dog is mistreated and has his mind ruined by idiot humans but does not bite he is weak but if the dog responds to abuse with inappropriate anger and aggression he is just difficult??  What a hoot!!!  In both cases the dog is ruined but in the second he is also dangerous.  The culprit who ruined this dog was his owner up to one year without a doubt.

I feel sorry for the dog this happened many many times people can,t handle this kind of  dogs
when he is growing and growing and become stronger and harder

Many people wish dogs like dogs only 1 percent can realy handle them.

I haven,t seen him but sounds like dominant hard charactar dog.

The answer you will find in first 12 months of his youth this is very important
what realy  happened with this dog who was his first owner , how did they handle
or train or correct him. Sounds the dog is out of balance now going from handler to handlerSad Smile hope this
dog will find his peace in good hands.

Hund
All over me means that the dog upon seeing me come to the basement would immediately make physical contact with me with his head raising his front legs to put them on me and would not stop at all. The only way to get him to stop was to give chunks of meat and he would down for the next piece cuz he already knew the down command. After the meat was done he would start all over again.
While he was in the down I was able to attach a leash and he was like a tornado ready to go.
He just wanted to do whatever he wanted to do. My trainer said to me that with all these interactions the dog is learning about me, and it would not take long before he began to physically challenge me. His advice was that he should be returned asap, which I did.
I learned a few days ago that the breeder who took him back was bitten by the dog.

I have never seen any GSD  behave like this and it was quite a shock.

I did not know that a dog's  character could be so strong that its almost overpowering to a human being.

BM
You are in NL? Have seen or worked any of the older lines Haus Ming dogs?

Ma said he used to breed dogs with this kind of character but people dont want them anymore, so he has stopped that direction.

This dog does not have strong character ... he is a psychotic mess. How he got there is not known but humans seem the likely culprits. Dogs can lose their way by bad training and by just stupid people who use abusive and physically or mentally painful methods. Most dogs respond to abusive or painful methods by shutting down. The well known dog that ducks his head and tucks his tail when the trainers voice gets gruff is the result of abuse which exceeds the dogs pain tolerance and emotional stability. The 1970s training methods were based on the idea that the trainer must dominate the dog physically and mentally. The dog in the OP can tolerate a lot of mental and physical pain while just getting more excited and driven. I've had a dog that a prong collar did not work on. I used a prong collar once on him and upon seeing his response realized the prong collar would ruin our relationship. Such a dog as in the OP will get more excited when heavily pressured with medieval tactics until he flips out and bites you. There is no warning and there is no predicting when the dog remembers some past painful experience or realizes you are trying to hurt him and you are not his friend. Without a relationship based on trust and respect for both the dog and human the true potential of neither the dog nor the human will be realized.

It sounds to me like the dog was allowed to do whatever he wanted and was rewarded for it, like in the case of jumping up on Mithuna until meat popped out like a pez dispenser. "I jump up, eventually I get what I want."

Bad manners which have been fed upon until they grew plus an under exercised dog equals a hard to handle dog. His lack of attachment to his handler, probably from the excessive crating and minimal human interaction aside from being fed and worked, probably turned frustration into biting.

He's not properly taught how to interact with everyday human lives. Like I've heard a million times, "let the dog be a dog." It seems to me like he wasn't allowed to.... He was just a tool, like Bubba said.

Mihuna Yes I live in the Netherlands

Have seen Inox Haus Ming , King Haus Ming

What Ma Ming said is very true the kind of dogs he like most handlers don,t wanna
have no more for any reason I can describe why but there are many topics about this
why this happened.

The same you see in the other  lines  and breeders in Holland ( Pike Schaffbachmuhler, Gento Haus Larwin, Racker , Zidane Haus Sevens, Jucan Peroh)real tough  charactar dogs but not
for pussy handlers.( who run away for some handler agression etc etc)

There is still a market for this dogs but  most not on the flashy  points sport fields todayShades Smile

I M O
