Most of prophet Mohd Hadeeth (quotations) is pure lies made by people, we take our religion from Quran, which does not have anything to say against pets or dogs.
Moreover, Middle East has Muslims, Christians and Jews, not only Muslims.

If I were a breeder, I'd be honored to have you as one of my owners, Ibrahim.

AFTER SEEING PICTURES LIKE THIS WHO WILL EVER BE WILLING TO SELL DOGS TO THE SE ASIAN COUNTRY. THIS ALONE IS AN INDICTMENT OF OF CRUELITY.

Mithuna, 5 years ago I was involved in a dog seizure here in the US. The "breeder" had over 150 large breed dogs, most of them suffering from starvation. When he had sick puppies that didn't die quickly enough he set them in a bucket that he placed at the end of his driveway with a "free dog, take one" sign. The ones that died were thrown into a common pit and allowed to rot. I'm not going on, it was not a pretty picture.
Don't think that the Mid East has a monopoly on abusing dogs and please don't insult one of my best dog friends who is a resident of the Mid East by suggesting he should not own dogs because of where he lives. That would be the same as my saying to you that you should not own a dog because you live in NYC. I know of several breeders who would not sell YOU a dog because of that.

Blitz first of all I did not say Mid east , I said South East Asia which includes countries like China, Laos, Thailand, Burma, Cambodia, Vietnam, Timor, Indonesia , etc ) . Mid East would be places like Saudi Arabia, Qman, Quatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, Turkey, Israel, Lebanon, Turkey, etc).
I understand that some people in US may abuse dogs, but its does not happen on such a grand cultural scale where you would see a truckload of dogs in cages being drviven up the freeway, and loosened cages flying off the speeding truck. I personally believe that people ( US or where ever ) objectify and mistreat animals so easily because they never develop a relationship with these animals, and thus no kind of moralizing of conscience is involved in dealing with animals. My dog live in our house and we all have a bond with her, and she is very well capable of communicating and feeling. She has rights in our house just as my young daughter has rights.
As far as a breeder /friend who will not sell me a dog because I live in NYC is funny. The only draw back to where I am is that a hectic dog may not easily adjust to living in a house with close neighbours. Our house has 3 levels ( 3 persons and 1 dog make up our household ) and the dog has access to all 3 levels at any time. She has strong pack drive and is always where we are ( day or night ).Her main place when we are not there is a 20x40 unobstructed basement with windows all around.
I still strongly believe that it is a high risk to send a dog to SE Asia.
This is a second dog we are planning to get , he is old blood Czech ( z PS ) ( but dont want to reveal his ped just yet )

I did think you said the Mid East, Mithuna, but my response remains the same none the less. There are good owners in SE Asia too with GSD's who live the good life. It's about how the dog is treated, not where it lives.
Funny to you or not, there are still breeders of all breeds who have refused to sell dogs to NYC or other metro areas, GSD's included.
You're getting another dog? I assume you have found a trainer for your current dog then? Have you ever lived with an intact female and male in the same household?

actually i think mithuna only claimed SE Asia is in SE Asia.
"Using your logic, it is almost like saying there are many idiots in the US, American should stop producing more babies, isn't it?"
