Bhaugh

by Bhaugh on 31 October 2012 - 00:10

Got news tonight that the puppy is in a rescue

Bhaugh

by Bhaugh on 31 October 2012 - 00:10

While looking for a puppy I went to CA and there are ALOT of byb'ers. They buy two imports or pups from imports and breed them thinking that somehow it makes them less of a byb because the dogs look good. Asking someone to screen perspective homes is down on the list since most I chatted with didnt even screen for heath and temperament. One person totally flipped out on me when I told her that without health screenings she was nothing more than a byb even though she claimed to show her dogs. If your not screening for health and temperament then to me you are a byb. And take back a pup? Well that is just out of the question. It's bad in CA and doesnt help the breed when people seem to think that breedings dogs should suppliment their income.

Yes Bhaugh and the unfortunate part is that to all the GOOD breeders, those shitty breeders make it very difficult for the general public to trust anyone even the most reputable breeders that do all the health and temperament clearances;  very, very sad indeed and CA is loaded with people that think they can make a buck then realize they can't then dump the dogs in the night drops.  JHC, yes, what IS wrong with people?

I don't see the puppy listed at the OC rescue shelter?  Where is she?

Found her, she's in coastal with a broken leg, looks to be in a cast with lizbithan collar on but don't know if its a soft cast or what.  How the hell did she break her leg?  JHC.
