For her, obedience and herding seems like it will be her main things. She seems to prefer them. Agility is enjoyable, but she's not wicked crazy about it.
However, because there's no place to take her swimming, our only options for keeping her in condition are biking and agility. She's on a hip supplement, but no pain meds (not necessary presently...hope that stays the case). Keeping her in good condition is most important, so we do agility and she jogs next to my bike, or goes jogging with my husband.
Her structure is what it is, and nothing can change it.
I can't make her ligaments firmer, or fix her hips up (the issues are in the ball of the joint, not the socket...the seating itself isn't bad), but it doesn't stop her from doing things she enjoys.
Every dog has "things" structurally. It makes some dogs better suited than others for certain venues, but generally issues in structure are not going to seriously hinder a dog.
Is Mirada a dog I'd use if I wanted to be on the world team? No. I'd use my German cross boy (if my own legs hold up) first (he's east/west in the front btw, and is a little too straight in the shoulder). Is she a dog that's great for things like recreational agility? Yup!
Will I be pursuing a MACH with her? No. I'll be happy to get her Novice/Novice Preferred titles and hang it up xD

Do not like my girl's head, but I LOVE her ear shape and set. Wish they were smaller overall

Xeph, yeah, her pasterns could be more upright. I think many champions and V rated GSD's are far worse. Can't tell about the strength on the photo, I'll have to take your word for that.
It's really hard to breed a dog with a long pastern and a 22 degree angle. This breed truly is a challenge for breeders who are trying to breed dogs to the standard. It is so unique in so many ways.

Mirada has a couple of white toe tips, and she does have a white spot on her chest. I know such mismarks in the GSD exist as well (excessive white), but have not seen any lately/

Showline, no. I've seen a working line dog like this--but I don't remember the amount of white on the face--I think it was a lot of white on the chin, not on the forehead and nose, though. That was about 15 years ago.
