God woke up happy with us today! Can you hear the angels singing in the blue skies above?
by vk4gsd on 19 January 2017 - 20:01
I turned the volume up to max, did not hear any angels singing.
Have you been smoking pot?
by beetree on 19 January 2017 - 22:01
Too bad you don't get the angel frequency in Oz!
God rests, for sure. I imagine he can sleep too, if he wants. I liked the drama of the sunbeams warming up Beau's back and felt this joy and that the composition of the photo had the feeling of a blessing.

Nice of you to volunteer for the Prom display again. I know all about volunteering, as per the discussion the other night, sometimes it sucks other times it blows.
Here is a little nursing home true story that I hope will make you laugh. I'm sitting with the wife and a bunch of other people about ten feet from the nursing station. Three nurses on duty. One of the patients (Lucy) pulls up right next to me and informs the nurse that she wants to call her son. The nurse says she is not going to call her son. Lucy calmly asks why. The nurse says your son is coming in a couple of hours so you can talk to him then. Lucy replies I know that's why I need to talk to him. The nurse again refuses. This goes back and fourth about four more times and the nurse still won't budge. Everyone there can't believe the nurse won't make the call, also even though Lucy hasn't directly said it, it's obvious she wants to tell her son something before he leaves. So Lucy looks over at me and says, you know what Joe, I told my kids if I ever get sick again take me to Jail, I'll be treated better there. (The nurses can hear this whole conversation), so I said I think your right Lucy, unlike this place when you go to jail they at least allow you to make one phone call. Everyone was still laughing five minutes later, and Lucy was on the phone.

Nurses can be polar opposites. I've found some are the nicest people in the world, while others don't care one bit, but to do their job and punch out.

Still can't imagine an omnipotent, omniscient, infinitely powerful, omni-max god thingy catching a few zzzz's.

Isn't Chaz supposed to have his cell turned off in a hospital ?
