Bee ( or whatever your name is) You just can't refrain from insults, can you? It always happens when you lose.

by beetree on 16 April 2016 - 01:04

Try to stay on the same page at least! All your accusations are getting ... Stale, too.  I am discussing an issue? What am I supposed to be winning? LoL

You can have the last word now, knowing you'll be in over drive and 'cuz I gotta big day in the Big Apple tomorrow! Need my beauty sleep. Lol Nighty - night!

Bee gets the award for accusing others of being stale, boring, unimaginative, lacking sufficient nuance..... Blah, blah, blah.

The same insults she spends so much time repeating here just get I dunno.... stale and show a lack of what's the word.... imagination.

Pathetic.

Shove your own insults up your own pathetic pie hole. Nighty night.

Try to add to the topic in a thoughtful way. Geeze, and try not to be so predictable, there is a thought! I am so popular these days with the cowardly gang of haters who haven't anything else to post about, but follow me around with their own hypocrisy and BS insults. Too funny.

Bee, how about suing the manufacturers of pressure cookers for committing mass murder.

What ever happened to respectful discourse?  It is ok to disagree but does it have to devolve?

The mother of the Sandy Hook school shooter tried to get him committed as did the mother of the individual who deliberately ran over a firefighter during the annual MDA fill the boot drive.  It is very difficult to commit a person involuntarily as it should be.  They have to be proven to be dangerous to self or others, there needs to be definitive proof.  You can not commit someone based on a hunch or feeling.  They have to have the means, method, and time table, and show willingness to hurt self or others.

There is a difference between causation and correlation.  The gun was manufactured specifically to kill the victims, for no other reason, or the perpetrator made the decision to kill his victims......

@Mindhunt, you said:

The mother of the Sandy Hook school shooter tried to get him committed...

It has always been my understanding that, no, Nancy Lanza was an enabler of the worst kind. If you are referring to something else, other than the below quote, I would appreciate clarification.

"...multiple medical professionals at the Yale Child Study Center told Lanza and his parents years before the Sandy Hook shooting that he could be treated for psychological issues, but that recommendations went largely unheeded by Lanza’s mother.

Despite Adam's preoccupation with mass murders was the fact Nancy supported his access to firearms, (even at times when his father was unawares and had thought weapons were being rented for shooting activites, and not owned by Adam).

The idea with the Newtown lawsuit going forward, I think, is seen in these, Adam's own, chillingly cold-blooded words, and points to how effective and irresponsible the marketing and advertising of military grade killing weapons, (firearms) resulted in their use above all other means, such as a car, a knife or remote explosives, etc:

Three days before the shooting Lanza wrote an email about mass shooters and said that he didn’t understand why the Aurora movie theatre shooting was considered a big deal. He wrote that using pistols felt “just (sic) right” as opposed to other methods such as vehicular, remote explosives or knives.

Mindhunt, perhaps your comment must be referring to Nancy's indication to move to another state and enroll Adam in a "special school"? The speculation is that this move was the catalyst for his actions. However, his murderous plannings had been thorough and ongoing and certainly, not sudden.

Are you a lawyer, bee? If you are, trying the case here is unprofessional at best.

by beetree on 17 April 2016 - 17:04
