Jesus is perfect because there is no man made proof of the catalyst....

You've imagined that you're not only the first, but the only one with an imagination awesome enough to come up with your awesome argument. Meanwhile, I was meeting with a Priest when I was still in elementary school, going over the contradictions I'd found in the readings of Christianity (the Bible) and researching everything I could find once I understood not only what Atheism and Agnosticism were, but where I fell on that scale. Some people search for knowledge all of their lives, some people never search past their religious bubble, some search through other sects and some simply don't care and just go along with the crowd. Then there are those who just like to argue a point that was lost before even being started and hold on tight. Tenacity can be a good thing, but sometimes it will hang you in the knots you keep attempting to untie and that's exactly where you're hanging at this point. Nobody else really cares about winning at any cost, because there is no winning, there's only what any one person decides is enough evidence to accept, along with what actually constitutes evidence in their own psyche. What YOU don't seem to be able to grasp is, there is nothing wrong with imagining anything your heart desires and, like I've stated numerous times, living accordingly. But, in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter if anyone else agrees or not, you don't need validation from anyone, especially anyone on a dog forum, unless you want to force it on them.

You're right back to game playing, and trying to "trap" people, while repeatedly verbalizing that you don't want to fall into others' "traps". What's your obsession with traps? What you never seem to comprehend is, other people are't concerned with "traps", they're actually counting on a frank, HONEST discussion, using as much fact based information as is available to date. But instead of engaging in honest discourse, you prefer to "ignore" anyone who won't play your game of "trap or be trapped", because you think you've come up with something brand new and revealing. Either that or you've gotten your panties in a twist over not holding the winning hand that's going to be a gotcha moment and you'll be able to be smug in the end. You just never seem able to get to that point and your own obsession with having to win won't let you go.

What has become crystal clear is your vengeful, vindictive nature, even as you "ignore". You posted about a health issue with you dog and I sent you a "best wishes" blurb, truly heartfelt and still sincere. You not only ignored my attempt at being sympathetic to you pain, but you couldn't even manage a "sorry to hear that" when my mother died. That, in itself, speaks to the kind of person you are inside and it doesn't paint a very pretty picture. A bit of introspection would go a long way beetree, along with, instead of trying to trap people in word games, actually being honest enough with yourself to listen for a change, instead of playing to win. But I'm sure one of two things will happen. You'll either completely ignore this post (most likely) or you'll come up with a response you think will "top" it, because you just never seem able to anything but try to win at all costs. We all have our own issues, we all have our own burdens, successes and failures, but not many of us expect to solve them, find them or shed them on a forum full of virtual strangers.

If you do happen to respond, which I still doubt, before you sail a snark in my direction about being preachy or spending my whole day painstakingly typing this long post, let me tell you I've got plenty of time on my hands, as it's my block of time to sit with my very recently widowed father, to be here to see to his needs, while also trying to give him the "alone time" he desperately needs, even if just in another room. I don't often have this much time on my hands anymore and it's kind of a nice change until I pull out of town. It may very well be the last times I get to spend with him and it's a precarious balance due to his dementia. Dealing with grief, feeling, hurting, healing, caring, crying, thinking, escaping... we're human, don't take yourself so seriously and be more open and honest if you want openness and honesty in return.

That's truth.

That, surely, is also what a "Christian" perspective
should normally be, too. Or so I am told.

This is where christianity is taking the u s a today...what happened to separation of church and state. What happen to ant-discrimination

This country is on a downhill slide and religion is greasing the way.

If xians acted like Jesus the US would be a pure communist state. The Bible clearly states the chance of a rich man going to heaven. Camels passing thru eye of a needle ......

But lets hate gay people instead of following the actual bible.
