Preston,
My point was American politics are an exercise in futility, politicians on both sides serve the same master and do not represent the best interests of the people.
The people will not wake up and even if they did, they have neither the knowledge, or the courage to do what is necessary.
A few would fight but the odds against them would be enormous, again look at what's going on today around the world.

The occupy Wall Street movement was one of the most embarrassing moments in latest memory, is this the people waking up.
Pathetic.
Only when you can't find food or turn on a light will people finally realize some things wrong and that's too late.

America is who people around the world hope will support them in a crisis, who would we hope would support us if the tables were turned.

The people are being methodically sold out at every turn at every level of government and they still keep the status quo like nothings wrong, following each other over the cliff.

Evident by the lack of real votes at either parties convention as I witnessed on live TV.
The delegates took it and never said a word, I haven't ever heard anything from the media about it, of course we know they were bought many years ago.

Point is, they are getting away with it in broad daylight because people can't see it or they are in complete denial and would rather argue over the distractions and take no real action.
A good fire may seem destructive but it's natures way of cleansing and rebirth.
