Do you know what's really funny BE?  The fact that science can't answer all questions and those it can't answer, it leaves up to the imagination.  Science is not afraid of the phrase "I don't know", because it begs the answer and until we have all of the answers, we will continue to seek, continue to evolve.  It neither proves nor disproves a God, and it never said it did or didn't, either way.  It doesn't bring up God, because it's not a testable hypothesis, its moot.  They cannot weigh in on something they have no evidence FOR, so all they have to say on the matter is, "There is no evidence to support it."  And that's the only thing they've proved and they are not challenging your religion, they are reporting facts.   It's not science that's trying to disprove religion, it's religion that's trying to disprove science, because they can't direct it, they can't control it.

And then we get to the really funny part.  When it's all said and done, if tomorrow a creationist came through with an actual piece of evidence that somewhere, somehow proves evolution to be completely wrong and sets us back to square one, God is not the default button.  You still have a long way to go to prove there IS a God and that he/she/it is not only the creator, but gave his/her/its words to primitive man in a dying language to pass on to all of the generations and there are these RULES, starting with WORSHIP.  DISproving science is still NOT proving God, let alone that the Bible is words from his mouth to others and we should just listen.  You're just kicking the can farther down the road.  If you want to argue that we must be created, because of OUR complexity, that it could have ONLY come from a higher intelligence, that justs BEGS the question, then who created something even more advanced and complex than us?  You could argue into infinity about who is the ultimate God and which one is right.  Like I said, Atheists only believe in one less God than the rest of the population.  Ask yourself why you don't believe in Zeus.  I'd be willing to bet you'd laugh at the ridiculousness of it all, wouldn't you?  Why?

Until the day that you can prove that there is a God, and it's the one that YOU believe is the REAL one, you CANNOT use it to control others, it is not your right to do so.  You can live YOUR life in accordance with its rules, but you are oppressing anyone who does NOT hold those same beliefs.   And THAT, you can take to court!

beetree, I put no words in your mouth, I quoted you.  If you can't own up to your own mistakes and it's there in black, white and bright yellow, I don't know what more I can say.  You obviously have an issue with evidence when it's right in front of your face.  You think if you deny it, it will eventually just turn into what you really MEANT when you said it.  Yep, it should have been crystal clear to everybody that you didn't really mean what YOU said.

I have not made any mistakes, GSDTravels.  Which do you feel are mistakes that I have made? 

I haven't lost anything. There is nothing here to lose. You are the one missing entire points. You can only observe Science: period, end of report. Constants are an example. Very simple and nothing fancy needed. Such a simple truth. 

Again I repeat:: The fun is interpreting it all.  You don 't have an upper hand on any body or any argugment: proving why you are so good to be an aethiest or otherwise. That is my point. Now, what in the world was yours?

And and please are you suggesting I am a creationist? Sure sounded like that. You did better when you realized I am not limited to a literal translation of the Bible. 

When you have watched that video with the neuroscientist... let me know. We can move on to my next subject. 

What video of the neuroscientist?  No video has been mentioned here, or did you mean something else that I'm supposed to know by osmosis?  And you never made your point with THIS subject!  You keep dancing around it, but you never get to the point.

I'm watching my grandchildren today and they'll be here within the hour, so I'm not going to have a lot of time.
