Thank you clingermac for the advice! We are going after legally at this point. PAYPAL only gets involved with non-animal purchases so I doubt they would be able to do anything. When she stopped responding to my texts we filed a complaint on PayPal but didn't escalate it since we figured it wouldn't do us any good. If the court finds her actions fraudulent then we may have to take her to civil court vs small claims. We definitely aren't letting her off the hook though! :)
Ts342003, I am so sorry to hear what happened to you. I sent you a pm before realizing you added to these posts. I don't usually realize people write to these threads until I get emails. I'll resend an updated message!

This was brought to my attention today that she is trying to sell a dog that is tech.mine. Peggy has breach contract on this dog I sold to her. Peggy has not completed our contract after many months of trying to work with her.. This dog has no formal protection work BEWARE.. By contract she is not owner of Dot..
I have no issue in showing purchase contact for any parties that maybe afected by Peggy's poor business ethics..

Is this Dot Von Der Gauss? If so, was she previously with an owner in Poplarville, MS? Recently saw one of Dot's puppies, if German Shepherd Dog I am thinking of, and he was a really masculine, strong, even-tempered dog. I saw him performing at an AKC event in Louisana. The father was Titus Vom Haus Krumm from Poplarville, MS. Exactly, who has Dot now (if you don't mind me asking)? I am just curious. Thank you.

So sad for all involved, let's not forget the innocent animals as well.

First of all, I am not on the side of anyone as there are usually two sides to every issue. Maybe I read the ad incorrectly, but I thought where the ad stated, "It is with much regret that we are liquidating our breeding business, due to health issues that I have been ignoring for a few years now." I interpreted this statement to mean that Peggy, herself, had health issues. If she meant her dogs then she was brutally honest. I am familiar with this kennel and while many of her dogs are not titled they are out of outstanding lines of dogs. For so many of her puppies to be used by the Michigan Police Department, military and other organizations that require working dogs, she must be doing something correctly.
Now if anyone was done wrong, I do believe it needs to be reported to the proper authority and pursued in the court of law. I would certainly be upset if I was beat out of a dog or money. That is one reason I don't buy a puppy or a dog unless I can personally pick it up (even if it means driving from south Mississippi to Michigan).
Personally, I don't believe in shipping dogs anymore as I have been there and done that (25 years ago) with a very costly field trial Pointer puppy (beautiful dog on and off point, find quail anywhere, retrieved but was scared to death of motorcycles, planes, etc. and was not shy about anything else). Maybe the luggage compartments of planes are soundproof now or animals are placed in a different area of the plane. If not, I don't believe dogs should be placed in the luggage department of a plane unless it is soundproof. Just imagine if a person had to ride in the bottom section of a jet how loud it would be.
