I miss my buddies on PDB but it's next to impossible to get there. Got there last night just long enough to post to people asking how we fared. Phone froze and couldn't get there.again. Please thank them for me for all the prayers. They worked.

Finally got power back and internet. I feel like I have been cut off from the world.. Well, I guess I was.... The house, itself, came through the storm just fine, thank God, but all electric on outside of house is shot. Air conditioning compressers, pool electric, pool heater, pool pump, fish pond filter, pumps, electric, etc.. The saltwater just killed it. We have about $100,000 worth of repairs, none of which is covered by insurance, and that is a best case basis. The lines are buried under the brick back yard, and if they have to chop that up to get to the lines, it will run about $300,000 to chop up, run new lines, and put back the brick. All my fish pond pumps, filters, etc are for the garbage heap- salt water killed them. I have no filtration for the pond, now, so I have a bubbler running to keep oxygen in the water so the fish wont suffocate. I have to do water changes of 3200 gallons once a week or the ammonia levels will get too high and kill the fish. I have my hands full here.

All that being said, I worked on  my cell phone that had spotty service and arranged for a 2 yr old high HW positive girl to go to Julie, along with another GSD in the same shelter. I am trying to find transport for them from St Augustine FL to Holly Hill, SC. Is anyone here on this route?

It's odd seeing your hometown come up. Lived for 28 years in St. Augustine. Wish I knew someone coming this way..
If the dogs came from St. Augustine, and they are showline, I can just about pinpoint what "breeder" they came from.
WL not so much.
