We felt it in Pennsylvania. I was on my way to work at the time. I thought a big truck must be coming down the hill, but then no truck ever arrived. My dogs were very quiet today, they usually make a fuss when I leave for work, today they were dead quiet. Makes me wonder.....?

i live at smith mountain lake 30 miles south of roanoke. it wobbled my house and got wave action in my pool that sloshed water from the pool.

Tremendous damage to the White house grounds, as you can see in the picture below: It actually knocked a plastic chair over.
Good thing the president was on vacation, AGAIN.
The ground must have split apart and later came back together, consuming Michelle Obama's Garden, which is now among the missing.

I was teaching a Biology class in SC when it happened, but we did not feel anything at all!
