dragonfry one of the most embarrassing things that ever happened to me was the day I took my dog to an off-leash park that didn't have vertical objects for my male to pee on, except for the boundary fence that was quite some distance away.

You guessed it - he peed on people's legs instead!  Red Smile

We then went for a very looong, slow walk of the fenceline...

I went to an agility class that has a potty Nazi and she would freak if any dog made the mistake on going anywhere around or in the ring.
So were all standing around listening to the instructor and her shepherd pees on her! Omg Smile Go figure.
Needless to say we didn't hear too much complaining after that!
I really don't think a dog being social would prevent them from peeing. Luther loved everybody and was the low man on the totem pole in my female dominated house. Yet he still hiked his damn leg every 3 feet to piss on stuff. Was very annoying to walk a piss crazy dog.
I wonder if the OP is male also?

Thank you for balancing things up Hundmutter! I guess the negative was just an accidental case of fumble fingers on an ipad or something.

Fry and Sun, that's funny about the dogs peeing on people's legs! I would have been so mortified.
