I realize that Jose. Don't worry, you're a good guy--I know that. All you want is to breed healthy, beautiful, GSDS with superb temperaments. Nothing wrong with that---actually, quite admirable.

Thanks!

Yes Jose you are a genuine Gem in the GSD world. Breeders should track their dogs progeny, even in pet homes. I couldn't stress that enough to my pup buyers.

I have found many times the "middle pup" turns out to be one of the best...

Jose-- Because English isn't your native language, your post may have been interpreted incorrectly. (Just a play on words to correct this interpretation). Like I said before--Your enthusiasm and quest for knowledge is inspiring.

jose --in respect to your last post : i shall agree -- --but i sure wish that we would drop all the politicking and the accolades at the show --the GSD doesn't care and i often have seen dogs just too close to position one ahead of the other -- -- also following our pups gives us a chance to aid the owners ion the growth and development of the pups as the owners have differnet levels of experience

Thanks again LMH. Please, would you tell me were in the text I did the mistake, so I can correct it. I know you understood what I was trying to say, so I ask you this favor, this way other people wont miss understand what I was trying to say.

I as usual, would like to add my two cents. I feel that there is way too much emphasis on titles for GSD's. I know what Max V. Stephanizt wanted and strived for and that is great. And, it is great that many strive for those same goals today. However, on this GSD web site (not Show GSD web site or Working GSD web site) very little credence or attention is given to family protectors, best friends and just plain pets. My fondest memories of dogs from my past are of my untitled pets that were, shall we say, Free Spirits, and not of my past highly trained dogs or titled dogs. I understand that a dog can be both but when chasing titles we tend to have several (or more) dogs living in kennels and not members of our family. I believe that a dog who protects your family in your house and on your property (natural protection, not professionally trained) is also a working dog and a show dog. Just a decent looking GSD is a thing of beauty and admired by almost anyone who passes your home and observes it in your front yard. And even if it is just a pretty dog that looks kinda like a "wolf dog" or "police dog", he is working by making the bad people think about someone else's home instead of yours. The way we humans are, a family pet works extremely hard to please us. We are the demanding, weird ones. Not him or her. I find it strange that almost all people who have listed "stud" dogs, will not even think about using there titled dog to "cover" an untitled bitch, even if she is a modern day Rin-Tin-Tin (who, by the way were not titled dogs for the most part)(there were of bunch of Rin-Tin-Tin's and they all had jobs :). Isn't that the kind of dog we all wanted when we were young? I have an 8 x 10 photo of Rin-Tin-Tin II hanging on my wall and no photo's of any VA or BSB or BIS photo's anywhere in my home (except for my Urma books). That is why I have GSD's and will always have one or more. No matter if they prove themselves on some field of endeavor or not, they are all my friends and companions and what more can a man ask than a companion that forgives anything and everything that I do, even if it is as stupid as peeing in his water bowl (toilet bowl :) I love them because they "take me back" to a simpler time when I was a young man and my best friend (Blitzen) was a GSD. Not because he is better than the other guys dog or because his puppies are worth more than the other guys puppies, or because he can kick butt in the ring or on the field. Because he loves me. The best reason to love anyone is because they love you. Not because they are beautiful or are important or even because they make more money than most. It applies to our dogs also. There is nothing wrong with breeding quality pets (boy, that one is going to raise some hackles). There, now I feel better.

Do Right---So happy to hear you feel better...
