Yeah I don't get the "they are nice but...." Plenty of WL could improve conformation these days (and not the ones who are starting to mimick the more extreme SL trends).

I corrected my mistake

Ehren has best sructure overall, if his character/temperament is as good I would keep him for further development of anatomy.

Eliot has best hair coat

Jaime, I also asked because there are 8 pics and you labeled to 6 and then mentioned the "last pic." Just making sure we're comparing apples to apples. The dome thing..I never noticed it in Eris, really, but I've seen it before. Dylan, from my last litter, had such a domey forehead I seriously almost wondered if I should have his head xrayed, maybe there was something wrong with it. It *seems* to be a "Capri thing" though, and they outgrow it and end up with a head very very similar to hers. <shrug> Just something I've observed. If anything, I'd have said Ehren was domier than Eris. I do think the fact that Eris' fur sticks straight up on her head is a bit camouflaging. Ehren has a very short, sleek coat, like the 2 blue boys, and is easier to tell his true conformation. Ember and Eirick (not pictured today), along w/Eliot, are so fuzzy they almost appear shapeless at times.

Ibrahim, you're right about Eliot's eyes. His eyes were always lighter than everyone else's...almost as blue as the blue pups' eyes. I always knew his eyes were going to be his weak point. I even noted it in his puppy description on my website;-)

Border, thanks. I live in IL, Paul lives in MO.

Its so hard to critique puppies when you're not able to sit and watch them for hours. They are all so damned cute, I could take any of them. Very healthy and happy looking little babes. I love them and what a nice pedigree!

It's not fair, don't you have a side view of Eliot?
Something about him makes him special, I can't figure what exactly, maybe the head and expression !!! pigment or coat !!!
Would love to see his anaomy.

I think that whole 'dome thing' comes from the slightese tilt of the head and the way the camera captures the pic.
Seriously. I have taken pics  of my pups and later when I look at them, I say what the hell, Iis that really what that head looks like? Lol,
Than you look at the dog, look at other pics and realize it IS the angle.
I can 't do the whole critique thing, other than they are real nice pups. As Iin every litter, you have one or two that this week, don't look like this, but next week, they sure look like that... I think they are ALL beautiful.

Ibrahim, I have a lot of pics. I'm working on it...they all have to be resized to post.

Blitzen, yes...I look at pics and they don't even look like they really look in some of them. Watching them hour after hour, week after week, is definitely more accurate. This is just for fun!

Joni, Dylan truly had a dome. I really thought there might be something wrong w/him, LOL. But oh boy...at a year old, not a darn thing wrong in the world with that boy! ;)
