Pirates Lair his name is Andrew Carpenter.
Kczaja, I was never raised in a sense, to be respectful or supportive....or anything like that towards the military. But I have close friends who have been serving in Iraq, friends that I graduated with a few years ago. Talking to them, seeing what they've gone through, talking to older ones who have served as well, and seeing what all they've done for us......not to mention the ones who didn't survive. It takes a toll on you, and I have a lot of respect for what these men and women do for us. A man I go to church with, use to be in the army. I'm best friends with his son, but he had put it like this one time.....These men basically give a "blank check" with their life written on the check. And they know that they may never come back alive, but they sacrifice their lives for ours!

My husband is also military. I cannot imagine if I were to lose him. My prayers are for Andrew's wife in her time of sorrow and need.

God Bless our Troops and their families....of today and past decades.
Because of them...we live each day with freedom.
*Protect them , dear Lord....for they protect us*.
