"Whos says that viruses can not be treated with certain antobitcs. In some cases there are viruses that could be treated with antibiotics.....and that is also basic knowledge"

This is how you write above. Now you change your words? We are laughing..... Virus are NOT treated with antibiotics.

Just because they have corrected you it does not make them a troll or that they just want to argue!!! Plus they were not the only one who was saying you were wrong.  Some people just want to make sure that the RIGHT facts are out there! Nothing wrong with that.
You could have just said,"Sorry, my mistake."

Thanks for the on-topic help. He's actually doing much better this evening, so the medications must be helping. Hopefully that was all that was needed. I was just concerned and wanted to be thorough since I'm unfamiliar with the breed. I'll try and get some pictures posted soon.

I found some info on ears on another site. From what was said there smaller GSD's ears stand up quicker as well as those from working lines. Is that on par with everyones experience? Both of his parents were imports from working lines. Thanks

Some pups with big ears take longer for the ears to stand, whether from working or show lines.  Sometimes ears go up quickly, then come back down during teething, then go back up.  It can be quite entertaining, and fodder for really cool, goofy but  memorable puppy pictures, one ear up, both up, both down, leaning towards each other, etc..

And to the rescue.......!!!!!    Not surprising at all......

rwrandal,
Please accept my apology for the information which I did not explain myself clear enough.....Thats a perfect situation where a persons thoughts do not fall into his words..... What an oppportunity for someone else to pounce on......

Good Luck with your new puppy, and hope all goes well, as this is what this OP was about, YOUR decision  and YOUR puppy's health....

CYHMN,
If you would read my post entirely, you would see where I acknowledged the correction......What more do you want......

Didn't realize you were appointed to tell people what to say......

Did anyone else know that there was someone to do  that.....???

I am done responding to you....

Let's all get back on track, please.  The subject of the thread is Puppy Parasites, Ears and age to remove from litter.
