I bought a dog from them earlier this year. On the front end, "Kris" was very prompt, very responsive to emails. They had the dog xrayed prior to purchase, and promised to provide copies of the xrays.

Dog was sent on time, and she was as promised.

Once the dog was delivered, the service stopped. No responses to emails with questions, and when her export pedigree arrived a few months later, no xrays. After numerous emails and several months time, I was eventually emailed unreadable scans of her xrays.

Although I am happy with the dog, the service after the sale sucked. In the end, I got what I wanted but had a lot of brain damage along the way. Having imported dogs before, this was the most hassle I've had in getting a dog here. Not sure I'd buy from them again.

JMHO.

I wire $$ to Czech and Slovakia or Germany all the time. For somebody expecting the wire to be as fast as overnight is foolish (unless Western Union is used). Wire tares 3-6 days. Lets not forget nothing is done on Saturday.
So if They thought the money will be there over night.. and went ahead and sold the puppy, they could hold the puppy for few days. unless they had somebody with cash!
So I hope they send you the money back. I would find somebody who speaks the language to maybe call them! Give that somebody 20 bucks, and pay the phone bill to know exactly what is going on.

I hope you get your $$ back.

I was wandering also what the hell happened to them, they have such huge amounts of dogs for sale one might think it is a dumping ground for the whole Czech republic.

I have dealt with them no problem but I dealt thru Rudolph.  The dog was better than I expected and papers etc came promptly.

Christina, I know it's hard, but give a little more time.  I'm guessing you're in America?  Thanksgiving, weekends etc may be the sole cause of your problem, I hope so!

Thank you everyone for your input. If anyone has contact info for Rudolf in Canada I would be happy to contact him and see if it helps.

This is the email I used to contact Rudolf in Canada.....  rslogic@telus.net   Good luck, I'm sure they will refund your money.....they have sold way too many dogs to the US not to  make it right with you.......and have "plenty" more for sale................      : (     Hopefully everything is ok with Anrebri Kennel owners...health and lives.............makes me wonder with all the dogs offered for sale.............

I have heard from the kennel and been assured that the problem will be solved. I want to thank everyone who replied, "THANKS EVERYBODY" I appreciate it. :)

It may be a problem with the Credit Union then. Years ago I sent a wire transfer to another country into a Credit Union. The seller did not receive it. It took another two weeks and one full six hour day on the phone with my bank resolution service to iron out the problem. In the end it was traced to something like an error of one digit which is different in code for Credit Unions than for Banks. Worst yet, the money was held up such that not only was it not going to the Seller, but I also could not get it back. It was just sitting in limbo land. You or Anrebri may need to make some phone calls to find the money. Good luck.

I bought 3 dogs out of this kennel in the past one through a 2nd party (broker) one directly and one that was already proven here in the states. The 3rd female I have been very happy with and still have her.  The first female I bought was everything I hoped for. I purchased her and she was said to be Hand picked for me... I could not believe a dog like this would ever even be sold. Gorgeous stunning... low and behold heat cycles every 4 months. You can not convince me otherwise that this was not the reason she was sold. We never could get her to carry a litter or conceive as she could not maintain a pregnancy and the one pregnancy we did achieve so she was sold as a very nice pet and spayed. Still to this day that was a bad deal and heartbreaking.

The second dog I purchased directly. And used Rudolph as the interpreter. The female was to be bred and kept and pregnancy confirmed by ultra sound. We were told she was pregnant and ready to ship... oops they forgot the picture of the ultra sound and someone of someone who was in charge of someone had made a mistake.... could never get a straight answer because of the  "Language Barrier"

Get the female she was not showing any signs of pregnancy... took her to the vet had an ultra sound done and she was empty... furthermore her next  heat cycle did not consist with when her last one would have been and every one after that that were always on time. I do not believe this dog was ever even bred.  I was offered semen but what good was that going to do. Seemed to me a good tactic to sell an older female " bred" to get higher dollar.

I have not found too many of the Czech dog brokers here in the US or over there to be on the up and up. Always some little hidden thing you find out later but pay top dollar for from horrible chronic ears to spinners and neurotic behavior... some real horrible stories I could tell....   I invested in quite a few before I figured it out. This is not to say you can not get a good dog with papers from these folks but you really need to be careful. I bought almost 10 from Czech brokers and Big Kennels ( not just Anrebri)  to get two good ones. It was not just a matter of me being an ultra fussy client who is not happy with anything these dogs had real issues that were not disclosed.

Never had any problems with getting papers however or money or the dog I bought.... but I have found finding private parties or through the grapevine and keeping your ears open for those little gems has been better and I have gotten by doing this fair pricing and some very nice dogs.  Big Kennels and brokers are trying to move a lot of unwanted dogs for one reason or another. One thing I seemed to see as a pattern was paying high top dollar for the defective one then be offered or sold a 2nd one at a reduced price which is still too much... but is an easy fix to clear a dog and make good on a bad sale and come out smelling like a rose.
