KYLE

by KYLE on 30 August 2005 - 17:08

Hi Ceddy, I think you are missing an important point here. I am a citizen born and raised in the USA that has been fortunate to travel around the world. Part of the worlds issue with the USA is our arrogance which is mostly out of ignorance. "Gary Harahan, Wallace Payne, Dean Calderon,Phil Houlsher,Debbie Zappia,Gene England, and see what they think. i think you will be surprised at what you hear" I don't think any of these accomplished trainers you mentioned want YOU saying that THEY believe taining is better in the USA than in Germany. Where and who do you think these fine trainers obtained their knowledge and information. We Americans need to keep bringing over fine European trainers for seminars to stay up to date on new training techniques here and abroad. To believe that we can not learn anything from european trainers is once again arrogance out of ignorance. Kyle

kyle we can learn alot from germans as well as they learn from us. The point of this whole conversation is the training is better here than in germany unless you send it the the top trainers in germany.. the rest are just average. Kyle i didnt say what they think about training in germany.. i said call them and u will be surprised about what you will hear. Kyle you can keep bringing over the trainers but bring the best not just a person with a accent. You should read what i wrote Kyle before you start talking. I said once again" we can learn from their best". i feel the same about people here to.Im just not into the kissing the Germans butts. If that is arrogance or ingornace so be it. This again is just my opinion based on the 2yrs i was there. You are free to feel what you want to feel. ceddy

Since I am the one who started this thread by asking the question,I guess it is up to me to steer it back in the right direction......that being said,I would like to sincerely thank each and every one of you who so graciosly responded to my query!!! Kyle: RIGHT ON!!!! Ceddy: I appreciate your feedback, but I am afraid that I am going to have to agree w/Kyle on this one....no doubt there are some excellent trainers in the US! Also no doubt, trainers in Germany ON THE WHOLE are much better.....they also have alot more opportunities to get dogs titled...a simple fact. My original post was to inquire about reasonable costs and if trainers there are as biased against showlines(from any locale) as MANY US trainers. Nonetheless,I appreciate all responses received! Thanks again! Cheers
