As far as I know Dari at Van Den Heuvel K-9 does not own and has never owned Balli. She does broker deals for Jiri at Jinopo in The Czech Rep. so she may know where he is so I guess you could try there. I talk to Dari about once a week and she has never mentioned him whenever we are talking about great Czech dogs in the U.S.
My question is why would somebody use him under a different name? If he produces like they say he does wouldn't it be better marketing to list the name he is known for?

I found this on the Alpine K-9 site. Alpine is kind of partners with Jiri in at Jinopo kennels in Czech. This sounds crazy.

yes I am aware of both people and have had Dari bring in dogs for me in the past....
maybe Bali hasn't been paid off and that is why they are not planning on paying him off but still want to use him as a stud, who knows....just a thought
I did have a lady email me about 6 months ago and she said that she had imported him and that she wanted to know what my litter was like out of him. I had imported a female that was bred to him, and Dari was the one that did the importing for me.

Hanns is a great guy, has helped me with paperwork in the past, so if he said there is foul play then there was, not on his side...non payment would be the only reason he would hold papers......
i have a picture of Bali but I don't know when it was taken. I am going to start looking at all the kennels that I can find and see if they have a dog that looks like him. that is the only thing that I know to do...any idea's from anyone else.

I think that is about all you can do. Did you call Hanns and give him that lady's address maybe she is the one that has him and is with holding payment.
I am currently waiting for my pup from Dari and have struck up a great relationship with her so when I saw her website mentioned I just didn't want people to think she was involved. Did you have a good expereince with Dari when you imported your female?

There is alot of information that is questionable posted on alot of these threads by people who cannot be identified - and lots of comments should NOT be made but taken private.
If you want information, perhaps posting a contact addy or number will get you information - whether it is scuttlebutt or gospel.
This applies to most of the queries - not just this one.

Dave, I see your point but a topic about a missing dog I feel is a topic that the more info given the better just because it could lead to something. One lead to could lead someone to a different lead and so on.
