LOL DR you are just further proving your ill temperament and pycho behavior. All anyone has to do is look at my posts to know that I have only interacted with you on 2 other posts. The first one is where YOU attacked me for no reason. It is there for everyone to read how nasty you are. http://www.pedigreedatabase.com/gsd/bulletins_read/69913.html Always turning things personal with anyone that does not agree with you. OVER AND OVER AGAIN! You provide the proof any previous posts where I attacked you for no reason! There are none! Just proves how pycho and totally full of yourself you are!! ALL of my bitches are OFA certified, which means they were not bred before the age of 2. The outside bitch is a EXCELLENT quality and IS prelimed officially by the OFA. I saw the paperwork as well as the exrays. She is of EXCELLENT quality. The only reason you seem to care, is to make things personal against me. Just like Wiener said. It's there for all to see what an idiot you are! Debby

PS Check the AKC under my Kennel name and anyone can see that I am not even close to a "puppy mill". All of my breedings are well planned with purpose and research.

Blitzen is right again.....It only reduces the percentage of risk of HD. To my disabppoint I purchased a pup from the 2000 Schh3 Champion {Pirol v Enclavehof and his hips Ofa are Dysplastic and so are others he sired including a pup Mike Hamilton bought that he told me was, so that OFA cert doesnt insure anything,.......

IMO the purpose of OFA cert. is not to insure anyones particular pup will have good hips. The purpose is to try to get a serious problem under control. The only way to do this is to work towards eliminating this goal. Problem is the number of people breeding who do not have a clue or simply do not care. We have to start somewhere and try and hope good breeding practices catch on. It is easy to see from even members of this board this won't be easy. I am not talking about anyone specificially so please don't attack me. just my opinion...thanks

DesertRanger: Its a chance anyway u do it/ all the advertising these breeders of the top dogs give out and u but one of the pups with all the paperwork that says all hips behing both sides are there ,you know those two breeders are not gonna tell u that 5 other litters had some bad hips and here's their names and so other people may breed them and on and on. I was told "many a bad hip OFA cert dyslpastic gsd has produced excellent or good hips, so dont pay any attention to all the people that use OFA as a push, and that they cant prove where it comes from, many different reason," and I know what they all are, so to save anyone from typing them, and this argument has gone on for years. I only tell u this as my experience so someone hears what gets said and what happens. I never got a replacement despite a valid contract.

Myself I have known a few breeders who had HD pups and keep it quite also; but still did repeat breedings. All you can do is try your best and hope you have good info....

Until OFA removes the option of not disclosing any results less then acceptable, there is no way to get accurate information during research. It can appear a line has all acceptable results when in fact the questionable ones are not listed.

In any activity people have to make a decision. Some people are honest and trustworthy while others are not. If anyone wants to hide and shield the truth from us for the most part they can get away with it. It all comes down to a person's character. To some the monetary gain is most important while to most of us the love of the GSD is most important.

by Blitzen on 29 December 2006 - 03:12

I seriously doubt that OFA actually sees enough "bad" hip xrays of GSD's to make much of a difference if the negative results were disclosed. Most I know don't spend the money to get an evaluation on an obviously dysplastic dog. I know a few who submitted dysplastic xrays to "get back" at the breeder. It all goes back to the same old - the breeder's integrity or the lack of.
