Hi GSDLVR, Glad to see you are getting lots interest in this thread. I would not be concerned with a 2-3 linebreeding especially when Renata from Anrebri kennels selected the sire and dam. She is an expert on these lines and close line breedings. If you want the looks and the work, a 2-3 linebreeding on a ZVV3 male that it V rated in conformation is not a bad way to go. Many of the kennels mentioned here are excellent ones and going with really any of them will provide you with a good chance of getting a quality puppy. Also, most of these kennels I believe are blending the DDR with other bloodlines most of the time, usually Czech. A friend of mine has a Banach male that is almost 2 yrs old that is half Czech and half DDR lines, he is very nice. Another friend in Michigan has a female pup from Chip and it is a very strong working puppy. Spartanville has some Anrebri dogs also with DDR. I also purchased a titled bitch from Eurosport and am very happy with her and the litter she produced. Puppies we got from her are strong working pups and should have very good working conformation. She is 1/4 Czech, 1/4 DDR and 1/2 W. German. We bought her bred to a really nice looking Czech male. Eurosport also has a lot of older pups that they put through their puppy program. You might consider something like that if you want to get an even better idea what they will be like as an adult. Another good way to go is with a repeat breeding. This will provide you will a real close look at what you can expect on the repeat litter. Looking for a new puppy is a lot of fun. Take your time and enjoy the process. Good luck in your search, Robin

Someone above mentioned www.vandenheuvelk9.com as having good dogs and I will second that. I own a Norbo /Exa daughter that is just getting ready to turn two who is incredible. There are also 5 other people at my Sch and PSA clubs that have Van Den Heuvel dogs and they are very nice as well. These are predominately czech lines but most of them go back on DDR lines as well. I will say that my female has off the wall Prey drive which I noticed you were not looking for but she will go totally civil at the drop of a hat as well. My next male will definitely come from Dari and her kennel for sure.
