When one is dealing with the rantings of a mad person, how does any response help? Worse, stooping to the same kind of nonsense brings it all to an etirely different plane :-( Let's talk dogs shall we?

Sue-Ann, I'm gratified to see you took my advice and formed your own thoughtful conclusions. They were especially valued as you must be just about the only member here who is unable to distinguish between the exalted DH and our moderator. And compounds her ignorance further by posing entries in such absolute, aggressive terms! And then requires some need to return and re-invigorate the same yet once more? The world is but a stage and we all seek relevance but you not going a wee bit overboard here? For one commendably adamant we only concern ourselves with animal affairs? Please believe that no one resents the time and effort expended on this subject more intensely than I, and was thus already done with it but for you initiating this thread! And, fret not Sue-Ann - in larger scale of things this affair amount to less than a pinch of …!

Shiloh, You are obviously extremely intelligent. Perhaps too intelligent. I don't think DH to be a schemer. I didn't agree with DH jumping into the whole mindless banter...I hold her in higher standard. With your eloquent writing style, please devote your time to progressive means for this site. I'd love to see what you can do to further people's education about doggy issues. What is your area of expertise?

Hello Sue-Ann, Before composing my joyless reply above I took liberty to skim through your other posts and was pleasantly taken again by your obvious good faith and intelligence, your knowledge and common-sense. And thus the more surprised you should have entered this 'dicey' topic! But, as intimated, little to do with this subject is all that new - and most of my views merely echo those of others previous, my perusal of particular earlier threads, and self-apparent contradictions and anomalies (if one cares to look that is!). I also well and truly - if not perforce repetitively and tediously - stated those views and only wish for it to be finally dropped! If history is any guide at all Sue-Ann, this forum will simply proceed as it always has, and it's therefore really not worthwhile to get too worked up about it. To digress: I'm rather more concerned that at present one is apparently able to post the most venal, obscene racist remarks, third party details, or most extreme inflammatory comments with impunity! The future implications thereof are not attractive! Perhaps I've led a sheltered existence, but offhand I can't recall any other similar chatroom where this is possible - well, at least not without being subject to instant deletion! Someone also insinuated I've been banned from other Sites, as well as other absurdities (nothing new here either!) Apart from the fact that I have never patronized other dog forums, and for its small worth, this is sheer invention: besides, my Internet knowledge can readily overcome such obstacles (ignoring specific user names or the forum in question shutting down altogether!) Well, hadn't meant to go to this length but what the heck!
